If I could give zero stars I would. Constant noise from the street (sirens, loud music from cars stopped at the stoplight), AND near constant noise from other tenants. The way the complex is situated allows noise in the inner courtyard to become amplified and kept me up at night multiple times because of parties and loud music from other people. Most of the other tenants there are college students that don't care at all about the fact that an apartment is a shared space, so they scream, litter, and run up and down the halls at all hours. Water shut offs were frequent and so were people entering your apartment for maintenance, "annual inspections", and "bed bug sniffing" dogs. (I've never had such things at other places I've lived.) The complex is supposed to be locked and only accessible with a key, but the doors were never locked. I had solicitors show up multiple times around 9-10pm. Car break ins were extremely common in both the upper, open lot and the locked "resident only" lot below the complex. You could hear everything - I could hear my upstairs neighbor pee in the bathroom and I could tell when they took a shower. I heard every single conversation that happened in the hallway perfectly clearly. The insanely loud, apartment wide fire alarm went off multiple times when I stayed there, every time being a "false alarm" wasting the firefighter's time. Jacuzzi didn't always work, and beware if you're a girl because I heard guys in their balcony cat-calling at girls in the jacuzzi. My parking spot in the upper lot was taken multiple times by people parking at Effin's, and you can have them towed but its such a hassle. Management was only nice to you when they wanted your money, if you had a real problem they got uppity and unprofessional. Maintenance guy and mailman were both nice though.
